IDSUD Energies to implement a Hybrid Solar PV Plant in Barbuda

To address climate change issues and aim for a sustainable supply of electricity to the population of Barbuda, MASDAR, a global leader in renewable energy and sustainable urban development, has chosen IDSUD Energies ‘subsidiary in Middle East to build a Hybrid Solar Photovoltaic Plant in replacement of the older one damaged by hurricane IRMA in 2017.

The following project will combine solar power generation from a photovoltaic system with a capacity of 720 kWp, an electricity storage in a Lithium-ion Battery and diesel back-up that will store and stabilize electricity from the solar plant.
